My recommended Site

I recommend that we do a site on Coffee Houses in the Fairbanks UAF general locality.  As a Marine Sergeant Major(Ret.), an Attorney, and a University Student, I have visited many Coffee Houses in the general area surrounding the UAF campus in an effort to get to know more students and to find a really good cup of tea.  I ave enjoyed “sipping tea” all over the world in some very exotic places like Kabul, Afghanistan, Ankaraa, Turkey, Beirut, Lebanon and Shannon, Ireland. 

I am of Irish,  Scottish and (a little long ago) French background and one who has served in over 42 countries as a United States Marine for thirty years and later in most of the 48 states of the United States as an Attorney.   In all of these places I have found the conviviality of sipping  ”TEA”  in local gathering places to be a splendorous way to become a part of the community in which I live and study.  I like real tea the Irish and English way not the American variety in a little bag as it makes a fantastic opening comment to observe how people sit and drink tea.  Some even lift the right little finger and use a demitasse cup just to show off.
