CSS posts:
Yes, I did find many differences in the use of CSS stylesheets and the “older” method. The older method is a lot of hard work and is very time consuming and it is also noticeable in the more polished websites as the use of CSS provides a more consistent layout.
Use of Dreamweaver:
1. The most frustrating/difficult thing about Dreamweaver so far is the use of CSS style sheets in the creation of a web site.
2. I like the easier coding of Dreamweaver best because I can layout a design as I want and Dreamweaver types in the code for what I have typed.
3. I have experience with using Dremweaver in the design and creation of a website along with the use of CSS style sheets as Dreamweaver will also create its own style sheets as you go along. If you try to enter a different color or layout than that specified in the style, you may have a real mess and sometimes have to use HTML coding to selectively straighten it out. Regardless of that small problem, however, I really like Dreamweaver and want to learn to use it more effectively.
Comments to one of Jay’s typography sites.
As required I left a comment on Jay’s typography site regarding the colors of blackboard. I don’t disagree with his thought, I just don’t think the UAF will change its colors on Blackboad just to make it more amenable to “Dreamweaver” sstudents. Britt
