HOW DO THEY DO THAT: Web Sites that display creations that I would like to do.
November 1, 2008
The US Marine Corps site at: http://www.marines.mil/Pages/DefaultPage.aspx and the Marine Corps University site at: http://www.mcu.usmc.mil/mcu/mcu_welcome_packet/index.htm both show either a video connected to a navigation bar or an emblamatic icon emblazoned on its opening page. The same type of video feeds but from several images displayed on the opening page and then clicked to the youtube video are shown at: http://video.google.com/. I would like to be able to do both (or all three of those creations) as effectively as those site designers and creators do.

These three sites are fantastic in the simplicity of design and great variety of information presented on one page. The use of videos with a navigation bar and videos that can be input from an image located on the same page presents a very attractive and informative site. The icon on the MCU site is placed in such a way that it presents a large part of the story without further elaboration. I would like to be able to do those things.
